Back Again

After another long blogging break. This has been a recurring event, I write in spurts, say will make 5-6 posts in a month and then do a vanishing act for 2-3 months. Very erratic indeed. One of my friends here; Tadatmya maintains a regular blog. I am mighty impressed that he has managed to keep it going continuously for the last 2 years, his interest never flagging and the so called hustle bustle of MBA life also not deterring him in any way. One striking thing about his blog is that he has a sort of a "mission statement", viz "Reflections, views and descriptions during my stay at IIM Lucknow from July 2004 to March 2006" . So that is pretty specific, especially the timeline, down to the month. Whereas my blog is a sort of rambling blog, no real purpose.

Have to do some introspection on why do I write the blog. One primary reason is that I like to jot/type out my feelings/views sometimes, it gives a sense of satisfaction. Used to maintain a diary earlier in Engg college. Other reason is to sort of let my friends know about me. I do not keep much in touch with friends through email, so from time to time if they visit my blog they can get a rough idea about what is going on in my life. But I don't think that purpose is being satisfied by this blog as I rarely write and on top of that not much current details of my life as such, in the posts.

Anyways no point in dissecting it further. Hopefully will be able to get in a few more posts this season, with or without any purpose or mission :) .
